Tohru is a hikikomori who abandoned Aizen Academy after a mysterious incident. The City of Miyo is a vast, colorless Japanese megacity ruled by the Aikawa family, whose corporation controls its infrastructure and military power. With the support of the Church of Love, the population has been rendered immortal through the spread of the “Aikawa Flowers.”
Tohru and his gang, known as Corpse users, are among the only ones capable of cutting down these immortal flowers, forcing them to fight against authoritarian soldiers, corporate bioweapons, and a brutal cyberpunk–fleshpunk world in an attempt to restore balance to the city.
